Arsenal are interested in Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic, according to the Corriere Dello Sport.
The Italian publication say that the Nerazzurri are considering offloading the Croatian international to make room for new signings in the summer, one of which they hope to be Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez.
Perisic has been mentioned as a possible signing for Premier League clubs over the last year, and his form for Inter this campaign seems to suggest that he could add quality to the Gunners if there is a genuine will from Arsenal to make the move happen.
In 30 games this season, the 28 year old has scored seven goals, and provided seven assists. He generally plays from the left wing, although he is equally adept playing from the right hand side due to the fact he is strong on both feet.
Whether at 28 he would fit into Arsenal’s current transfer policy is questionable, and probably a lot will depend on the who the manager will be come the start of next season.
