Arsenal are one of four Premier League clubs who will reportedly have scouts run the rule over Celtic's Moussa Dembele on Sunday. The Scottish champions will take on rivals Rangers in what promises to be a fiery Old Firm contest at Celtic Park, with the forward anticipated to play a starring role. According to The Sun , the Gunners will have representatives in attendance to assess his efforts.Dembele has blossomed since moving to Celtic, leading the line with distinction for Brendan Rodgers' team. In the Scottish Premier League he's grabbed 17 goals in 25 appearances, although as noted by Squawka Football, he's been in red-hot form recently.
The 20-year-old was on the books of Paris Saint-Germain in his youth before moving to Fulham and impressing in the Championship. But the move north of the border has really helped him to kick on.Rodgers' side have been exceptional in the Scottish top flight this season, winning 26 and drawing one of their 27 matches. Dembele's linkup in the final third with the likes of Scott Sinclair and Stuart Armstrong has made them a thrilling team to watch, too.Arsenal may need to strengthen their options up top in the summer. As noted by Brus, Alexis Sanchez has been linked with a potential exit, and his departure would leave a void at the point of the attack. It's not a chasm Dembele is ready to fill quite yet so early in his career, although the potential is there for him to go a long way in the game. Playing matches is important, though, as has been evidenced by his development at Celtic. That must be his main priority if he's to depart in the summer.
