Deal Done : Arsenal set to sign world class strike

Lyon Striker Alexandre Lacazette Tops Arsene Wenger's Summer Shopping List Ahead of Squad Overhaul

Arsene Wenger has made Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette  his number one priority in the transfer market this summer; according to reports.
The Frenchman has racked up an impressive 29 goals in all competitions this season, but admitted recently that he feels his time in the south of France is coming to an end.
According to the Daily Star, Arsene Wenger has made Lacazette his main target for the closed season, in an attempt to revamp his Arsenal side.

Arsenal spent much of last summer vying for his signature, and their eventual £35m bid was rejected by Lyon. Fast forward a year and it is believed that the French club will be willing to accept a bid in the area of £52.5m, with the forward keen to move on.
Wenger has come under a lot of pressure from fans of the Gunners, with protests being staged outside the Emirates stadium requesting his dismissal.
However, the veteran manager doesn't seem overly keen to end his 20 year long tenure on a negative note, and is believed to be close to signing a two year extension on his current contract.

Lacazette will be the focal point of the Gunners boss' overhaul of his currently under achieving team, in an attempt to win back over the Arsenal faithful.
It has been heavily rumoured that many big names at the Emirates will leave in the summer, with the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain clearing up funds for Wenger to (supposedly) pump back into the squad.
