Arsenal are reportedly new opening contract talks with key midfielder Aaron Ramsey as the Gunner look to have the Wales international commit his future to the club well ahead of the expiry data on his current terms in summer 2019 .
According to the Daily Telegraph , Arsenal are keen to avoid a repeat a situation that has befallen then this summer , with Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil and Alex Ox Chamberlain all new about to enter the final 12 months of their respective contracts .
The Gunners are faced with selling the star as soon as possible , probably for less money then they could command were they in a stronger position , or loss them a free agents in 2018 .
Ramsey remains under contracts for another two your , but having the former teen prodigy sign on the dotted line with the next few months will remove any doubt or 'saga' further down the line.
Olivier Giroud , Danny Welbeck and Theo Walcott are the other key first-team players with contract due to expire by 2019 , but Ramsey is thought to be the most important one .
