AC Milan Target Arsenal's Laurent Koscielny as Their 'Defensive Priority' This Summer

AC Milan are looking to continue their summer spending spree by targeting Arsenal defender, Laurent Koscielny.
The Rossoneri have labelled the French international as their 'defensive priority' as they look to further bolster their backline following the signings of Villarreal's Mateo Mussachio and Wolfsburg's Ricardo Rodriguez.
France-based journalist Matt Spiro reports that both Manchester City and Marseille are also keen on Arsenal's 31-year-old star.
Nevertheless, it is believed that Arsene Wenger's side are unlikely to offload one of their most valuable assets, with Koscielny widely seen as the club's finest defender.
The Gunners vice-captain enjoyed yet another stellar campaign in north London last year, but he did miss the FA Cup triumph over Chelsea due to a red card he picked up against Everton on the last day of the Premier League season.

The former Lorient man signed a new contract with Arsenal back in January, tying him to the club until 2020, meaning Milan's pursuit this summer could be fairly meaningless.
Arsenal would likely command a sizeable fee for an ageing player and the Rossoneri would be better served pursuing other defensive targets across Europe.
So far, their summer signings have been mighty impressive with Atalanta's Franck Kessie and young Porto star Andre Silva also being added to their roster.
Vincenzo Montella is also said to be keen on Fiorentina's Nikola Kalinic as he looks to steer the club back towards the summit of Serie A.
Last season, they made it back into the Europa League but now, the legendary club have higher aspirations under their new Chinese ownership.
